Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the DriversLog iOS application ("the App"), published by Mobile Alchemy ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to the extent not superseded here.

The service

DriversLog records driving trips and estimates tax deductions or reimbursement amounts using published government mileage rates or rates you configure. The App's free tier includes unlimited trip recording and report export. Additional features are available through the optional DriversLog Pro purchase.

Subscriptions and purchases

• DriversLog Pro Monthly and DriversLog Pro Yearly are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal charge is applied within 24 hours before the period ends, at the price shown at purchase.
• DriversLog Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, granting Pro features for the lifetime of the product.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions any time in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.
• Prices vary by region and may change; changes apply from the next renewal after notice through the App Store.

Not tax advice

The App provides record-keeping tools and calculations based on published rates. It does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice. Deduction amounts are estimates; verify figures and eligibility with the relevant tax authority or a qualified professional before filing. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any records you submit to a tax authority or employer.

Safe use

Do not interact with the App while driving. Automatic tracking is designed to work without any interaction behind the wheel.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, resell or misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or use it to create fraudulent records.

Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. GPS, motion detection and Bluetooth triggering depend on your device and environment, and trips may occasionally be missed or recorded inaccurately — review your log before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update the App and these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the App with reasonable notice — your data remains on your device and exportable at all times.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by consumer law, and otherwise by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mobile Alchemy operates.
